I’m delighted to share that the quality of your food, drinks, and service is just as exceptional as I remember—if not better. While I greatly appreciate the aesthetic updates made during your recent remodeling—the new facade looks fantastic, by the way—there was one particular aspect that caught my attention. I strive to live by a philosophy of mutual respect and understanding, avoiding judgment of others’ lifestyles or beliefs and refraining from imposing my views on anyone. In return, I value the same courtesy, especially when enjoying a meal out with family and friends. I prefer an environment where I can simply savor the experience without feeling that sociopolitical perspectives are being presented or imposed. With that in mind, I sincerely want to thank you for your decision not to replace the flag or the window sign/s of a sociopolitical nature that previously adorned the front of the establishment. “ First time going to this Tavern. Very happily surprised. We had brunch. The food was amazing. Best grits I’ve had in a long time. We ate at the bar. Our bartender was so attentive. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Only thing I would change are the bar stools. They were a bit too worn. We will definitely be going back. A hidden gem. ”

“ This was my first visit to this tavern and it was nothing short of amazing! We came here specifically for Atlanta burger week and their burger did not disappoint! The cheese was so melty! I got a side of tots and my husband got the potato rounds. Both were great but I preferred the tots! This place seems to have some great specials throughout the week. “ Absolute perfection!! My girlfriend and I came here after a date night at Fernbank Museum and Thinking Man Tavern was the perfect spot to end the night. PLEASE - do not get rid of your vegan/vegetarian options, they were absolutely delicious and my girlfriend is the pickiest of eaters and absolutely cleaned her plate. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was prompt and friendly, the vibes: immaculate. Summary: Amazing food, amazing service, amazing vibes, don't change a thing. “ Surprised it took me this long to finally visit. The place has eclectic vibes, hip and divey at the same time. Service was great, though there weren't a ton of people there for a Saturday evening. There's a nice cocktail list and I liked the one I tried, but I was most impressed by the beer list. Lots of great craft beers from Georgia, across the US, and a few from abroad. Then there are a ton of drink options beyond beer. The food menu is also pretty neat. I had some wings and a burger and they were both good, not quite great. But the potato rounds as a side are something special, and there are lots of other interesting things I'd like to try soon. Overall definitely recommend this place. ”

“ Great food, good drinks, and fun trivia! Me and my friends came here on a Tuesday for some trivia and had a blast. We got the chicken nachos and bavarian pretzels to share and both were excellent. If we came back, we would definitely order those again. The trivia was fun, but it was pretty slow since it was just one person reading out the questions and calculating the score. 20 questions for trivia ended up being almost 3 hours... :/ Might try somewhere else for trivia next time, but I'm still happy for the experience. ”

“ Always good food and a good time. The place is never really too crowded before noon. So if you a late starter and want a great brunch check them out. They have an excellent beer collection. Update 4/22/23. Still good food and good times. Love the board games in the back. They added brunch yall!! Shrimp and grits were killer. The French Toast was amazing . Go try their brunch!!! ”
